This place is alright. It's just a typical pizza place that also serves other fast food fare, dinner, and subs. The pizza is okay and the wings are pretty good, and everything else seems like it's pretty average. Nothing to scream/shout/jump and down over. The one thing that I will rave about is the salads. The salads that they serve are a very generous size. Not only that, but they use real green romaine lettuce and fresh veggies. The specialty salads are nothing...well, special. But, I feel the price is VERY right for a salad that you can have for two lunches. 9 bucks for a huge fresh salad and a healthy portion of grilled chicken on it. You can't beat it. The parking situation is a little scary. There is next to nothing to park in front of their store on Western Avenue, and trying to pull out is even worse. Do yourself a favor and order enough to get it delivered. Do the usual thing - call early enough to get it delivered at a reasonable time. This means NOT calling them at 12:10 and expect your lunch to be delivered at 12:30pm because that just does not happen anywhere. Myself and my co-workers will continue to frequent this place.

This is a typical pizza joint that has fairly decent prices and is located near SUNY, which seems to be the main selling point. I came here since I wanted to try something new in the Albany area, but I was really disappointed. The food is just way, way, way too salty. We both ordered the veal parm dinner (large portions and salad for cheap price), but we couldn't finish it due to the extreme saltiness of the dish. Bottom line: you get a large portion of food for a good price, but the overwhelming saltiness of the food ruins the meal. There are much better pizza places in the area and you shouldn't waste your money here.

Ordered 2 Italian mix subs. Picked them up. Went home and opened them up and was instantly disgusted. The lettuce was rusty, wedges of red onions that had some onion skin left on em and the tomatoes were also cut into wedges. Pizza pepperoni slices and some meat I couldn't identify were wrapped in ham and topped with paper thin provolone. No dressing... bread was stale and looked like they mushed it flat. Took 2 bites and threw it out. $15 dollars down the drain. If it wasn't so damn cold out I woulda went back and had them throw it out for me and got my money back. A BIG middle finger to Torinos!

Ugh. Our hunt for good Albany pizza delivery continues... 1. our order took an hour and 20 minutes 2. the bacon cheeseburger had flat, square pieces of Spam-looking meat on it. maybe you could call it bacon... if you were putting it in dog food. 3. they took a temperature on the burger, as if it mattered. Burger King patties are fatter and juicier. don't bother taking a temperature then! it got my hopes up that I had something good coming. 4. now for the pizza. not enough cheese for my taste - big holes of cheese on the pie where tons of sauce oozed through. it was pretty cold and squishy after all that time in the car though. 5. the fries were really, really good. unfortunately there is nothing I'd want to order with them.

Very dissapointed by Bello Pranzo tonight. I previously reviewed them at a 4 star but I'm dropping them to two. First, whenever I get the baked dinner, I never get the free soup or salad, neither are very good. Tonight I asked for extra sauce instead in the dinner, and they charged me an extra 50 cents. OK, it's only 50 cents, BUT I didn't get the soup/salad, wouldn't you think that evens out?? I am confused... definitely not taking care of their costumers. Whatever, didn't bother me too much, then I got home and I opened my dinner and they gave me the wrong dinner platter. I live kind of far away so I couldn't drive back, and it was edible even though not my favorite thing and definitely not what I ordered. It wasn't even that busy in there.... probably won't be heading back there for a while, I don't like how they do business. Sad because I love their dinners, when I get the right one... And as my previous post stated, and many on here did as well, the pizza is not very good, at all,.

Was the only walkable choice for late night pizza. Staff was awesome, pizza was below average. They also don't have parmesan cheese out on the tables to put on your slice. Just red pepper flakes. Fail.

Bella Pranzo is very much a go-to pizza joint for me. There are about a dozen places within a stones throw of Bella, but none stands out like the super soft crust and slightly sweet sauce of these guys. Prices are really good too, and there is never much of a wait. Because of the sweet sauce, my favorite pie is ham and pineapple.

A contrary opinion. The pizza is not so good. Better than others, to be sure. The outside crust is nice and crispy, and scores some points. But everything else was a letdown. The biggest problem was the sauce, which was oddly and distractingly sweet. Maybe this could have been countered with shaky cheese, but none was to be found in the eating area. The bottom crust was moderately crispy, not quite as delicious as the outside. On the cheese 1/2 of the pie, it was fine. One the fresh mushroom side, the crust was structurally inadequate. The cheese was a bit bland, and it was unevenly melted on the pie. The cheese 1/2 of the pie had one large blond spot, and the mushroom 1/2 was a mess. To be fair, fresh mushrooms are not an easy topping to master. But it's cheap. And it's close to campus. And they have a broad menu of options. Given their strengths, I could imagine a killer calzone or pepperoni roll coming out of this joint. And they have slices ($1.60). And the kid loves his pizza. So, it is a shape to fill a lack.

I ordered from here last night hoping that it would be good since some of the reviews werent as bad as the rest of the pizza places in the area. BAD CHOICE. It is literally the WORST pizza Ive ever had. I asked for a deluxe pizza and got the wimpiest pizza ever. Delivery time wasn't long but the pizza was mildly warm when it got here. I will never order from them again.

Been here a few times and its not too bad...depending on who makes it. The pizza has no consultancy. Sometime very good other times dominos sounds better. Got to recently and the cheese was nearly melted.

My co-workers and I have previously ordered from here and have been nothing but happy with everything. HOWEVER, the last order we placed was so bad I had to write a review. When calling to place my delivery order the person was friendly on the phone and took my order fine. So I made sure I gave them enough time to make the food...I was told that it would be about 45 minutes... okay that is fine.... however and one hour later I tried calling to check on where the food was. Considering we work in an office and only have a certain amount of time we can actually have our lunch. When I called no one answered so I called back again... and again. Finally I see the delivery guy show up. I explained to him that I have been trying to reach someone at the shop but no one answered. His response was his boss does not hire enough people to take care of customers. The driver was very apologetic and said if you have any problems to give them a call. Of course I open the bag and found I was not given any side sauces for my appetizers and an entree I order came completely wrong. At this point I was really fed up and called them again. Finally someone answered asked me what I needed as I began to complain the man on the other line must have literally just put the phone down. Did not ask me to hold, wait a minute, etc. just put the phone down like I was going to just forget and hang up. Well I called back again and what does he do...the same exact thing! Never heard from him again and a delivery driver did show up with a side of sauce out of no where but that was it. I have NEVER been so disgusted with customer service and from my understanding it was the owner treating us this way. I was so upset with the customer service it prompted me to write my first yelp review ever.

Good stuff. Most pizza in Albany is trash. This isn't, I'll definately be back.

My review is somewhat between the first 2. Being that it was a rather warm day, I would normally go for something lighter, but for some reason I had a need for pizza and wings. This place offered a good option, the Sweet & Sour BBQ Chicken Pizza. I usually go for the classic cheese pizza to test a place out, but this pizza sounded intriguing so I gave it a try, glad I did. The pineapple, hot peppers, and BBQ chicken really worked well together, and it had exactly what I was looking for, pizza with an almost summery twist. The wings were a surprise too. I asked for hot and they actually had some kick, unlike a lot of places in the area. My wife, the wing wuss, had the mild and said they were the best she has had in awhile, a little spice with some sweetness in the sauce. Overall a good experience, with this place being only a 5 minute drive from my house I will definitely be exploring more of their menu.

GRRRR!!! Why has nobody ever told me about this place!?!?! For the past 2 years, my money has been wasted on pizza that wasn't made with love... Bello Pranza makes the best pizza in Albany. You can forget about everyone else. This is the real deal. I had some wings too... The chicken was exceptionally nice and tender...but they weren't hot at all, like I'd requested. Also, I'm really turned off by how their delivery guys are sissies. They won't venture out very far and if it's snowing, you have to come get your order yourself. (And I live less than 3 miles away.) Tip: Check your order before leaving the store! Make sure it's right.

Bello Pranzo is literally a block and a half from the apartment, so they are the go-to pizza place for all our impromptu pizza needs. We usually order the hawaiian pizza with bacon instead of ham and it never disappoints. They seem to use SUPER fresh cheese, and they have a great balance between the cheese and sauce. Very tasty pizza!
